Looking to the future
RecordPoint was chosen as the technology solution to support 3,000 corporate users with the flexibility to enable an additional 2,000 users in education. Furthermore, in addition to meeting the Council’s current technology landscape, RecordPoint was the only vendor that met the future migration strategy to the cloud, leveraging Office 365 standalone or an Office 365/SharePoint hybrid environment regardless of whether the SharePoint servers are positioned on-premises in a Council data center or in the Azure Cloud.
Email management was also a necessary requirement. For email management in Exchange, RecordPoint technology partner Repstor was chosen for its feature set and seamless integration within the RecordPoint solution.
RecordPoint is pleased to have been chosen to provide Dumfries and Galloway with a “comprehensive and user friendly EDRMS” today and into the future.
